I hope that you find this site useful and informative. It was designed with your needs in mind. However, a website can’t help you buy or sell a home. In our industry serving the consumer’s needs has a personal implication. To that end, I thought it best to use this portion of our site to introduce myself.

I am a young, hungry and driven individual with an extreme passion for being successful at whatever task I take on. I also have a passion for real estate. I have valuable experience in almost every facet of the real estate industry, from management and auction, to sales and marketing of residential or commercial real estate. I am a second generation real estate professional and have had years of experience prior to being in business for myself. I grew up on job sites and in conference rooms observing some of the most competent professionals in the business.

After graduating from Bellarmine University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a minor in Communication, I immediately became licensed to sell real estate. At the same time I accepted a position in the mortgage industry as a Loan Originator. While originating loans full-time I continued to market, sell and invest in real estate part-time, with a constant “watchful-eye” on the developments in the real estate industry. As time progressed, my passion grew for being in business “for myself, but not by myself.” In 2007 I decided it was time to make my passion a full-time profession. My time in the mortgage industry cultivated my skills and sharpened my awareness of the consumer’s need for someone to assist with the increasingly more difficult finance process. This realization has helped me to serve numerous clients over the past several years in navigating the tumultuous world of mortgage lending and take advantage of some the best deals we have seen in a generation.

I am a four time RE/MAX Platinum Award Recipient, Two time 100% Club member, and one of the youngest members of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame our state has ever seen.

Mortgage Industry knowledge coupled with years of working in my father’s property management business growing up have prepared me to take on a niche that many in our industry shy away from: bank foreclosed property. I currently represent and list foreclosed homes for several of the nation’s largest banks and investment companies. I also represent several local banks in the liquidation of their foreclosed properties. This means I have access to the best deals on the market. Whether you are an investor, or soon-to-be new homeowner, I can help you gain access to great opportunities.

Despite all of my passion, experience, or hard work, the reality is that no one can have the type of success that I strive for without help. I have an amazing team of individuals that assist in the daily operation of Jay T. Pitts and Associates. The level of service that we provide our clients has become a cornerstone of our success, and would not be possible without them.

Outside of my work I am simply a lucky man with a beautiful, supportive wife, a fun loving energetic little boy and newborn baby girl.  I enjoy challenging myself as much in my personal life as I do in my business. Truthfully, there isn’t much separation and I attribute that to loving what I do.

 


Jen Pitts - Director of Operations + Outreach

A graduate of Bellarmine University, Jen brings to the table nine years of experience in fundraising, marketing, and event planning in the non-profit world. She began working as part-time bookkeeper for Jay T. Pitts & Associates in early 2013, and in 2015 assumed the role of company owner and director of operations and outreach. Her primary focus is on the day-to-day running of RE/MAX Premier Properties along with marketing, team-building, client engagement, and community involvement efforts.


Marcy Humble - Executive Assistant

Joining the team in 2016, Marcy possesses the desire for team growth. She brings years of client service experience including the last 4 years nestled in the real estate industry. Her commitment to efficiency serves well in this fast-paced environment.


Kelley Young - Transaction Coordinator

Kelley moved to Louisville in May 2017 from Nashville, TN, along with her son and 3 dogs. She graduated from Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, KY with a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership. Kelley has over 20 years of experience in customer service and a passion for real estate. In her spare time she enjoys watching sports, traveling, and exploring the city.

I love the community and want to be able to make a positive impact on my hometown, so that is what initially brought me into real estate. I am apart-time fitness instructor at B.YOU {her modern fitness boutique} and love instructing classes because it allows me to positively impact the lives of women in our community as well. Originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, I attended the University of Louisville, where I was a four-year captain for the women's lacrosse team. After graduating in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Entrepreneurship, it didn't take long for me to realize Louisville is where I wanted to make my home and start a family. I started off in the insurance industry, but always knew real estate is where my passion lies. I moved into property management and leasing before making my way to Jay T. Pitts & Associates, where I am able to help my clients find the best home for them. I was born and raised in Louisville, KY, and brought up around many successful people in the real estate business. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, I got started working in the automotive marketing field, and transitioned to medical equipment sales. I’ve always wanted to help people find their dream home, and thru the skills I’ve learned in sales and negotiations, I can now realize that dream. My wife and our two dogs live right in the heart of Middletown, not far from where we grew up. Our love for the area, and the community, are why I look forward to helping folks navigate the process, and to help them find their forever home.


After graduating from Western Kentucky University in the spring of 2004 with a degree in public relations and marketing, I immediately moved to Denver, CO with my new husband.   I have always had a pull to work in real estate, but life had a different plan for me.  I ended up going to work in an outside business to business sales role.    It was there that I spent the next several years working hard to build strong relationships with clients, and deliver results that met their expectations.  I learned quickly that the core of my professional identity would be centered on providing value-added services and outcomes to my clients and business partners.

Today, this still holds true, regardless of the field or industry I serve in. Time progressed, and after two baby boys and a lot of reflection, we decided to head back to the great state of KY! The move afforded me the opportunity to finally pursue a career in real estate!  I knew I wanted to work in a capacity that allowed me to help people; one that was focused on supporting and guiding good people through the process of selling and purchasing homes. Upon this decision, I was fortunate enough to find a team of aggressive, passionate like-minded professionals to work with, and I couldn’t be more excited!  I have spent dedicated and focused time training and learning the exciting trade of real estate; and I am thrilled to now be working hard for my clients! After growing up in the Louisville area and graduating from WKU, my wife and I spent several years in Denver, CO.  In addition to my work doing Marketing Consulting & Analytics in Denver, I also focused on real estate investing and property management.  After having two sons, my wife and I knew it was the perfect time to move back closer to our family and take the real estate investment knowledge we gained and join RE/MAX Premier Properties! I am a former University of Louisville baseball player who then spent time playing professionally in the Tampa Bay Rays organization. I have always had an interest in real estate, being around my father’s real estate investments. Although I am new to the industry, it is something I have been very passionate about for much of my life. Currently, I also give private hitting instruction. I love being able to connect with players and their families and make a positive impact in their lives. I love to instruct, but the relationships built are what I enjoy most. That is what I am looking forward to with a career in real estate. It will give me the ability to make lasting relationships with clients and help them find homes they love.  I am available to my clients whenever they need assistance and will help in any capacity I am able. I'm originally from Lexington, but I've also lived in Nashville, TN, Davenport, IA, and on the road as a touring musician. After attending the University of Kentucky, I moved to Nashville and toured as a musician and manager for a top 40 country band called the John King Band. I was fortunate enough to play over 250 shows a year in 46 states, opening for incredible performers like Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, The Band Perry, Survivor, and many more. I gained skills in negotiating and procuring deals for my band, running a business on a budget, and regularly working with new people. I booked shows at bars, venues, arenas and negotiated endorsements from brands like Gibson, Dean, Costa Sunglasses, and more. Though I loved my time as a musician, I missed my wife way too much to stay on the road. I left the band and received my degree from the University of Iowa. My wife and I were blessed with our first child, and we wanted to come home to the state we love and the family and friends we cherish, so we moved to Louisville! I wanted to take the qualities that made me so successful in the music industry and use them to help people connect with what they need in a way that is significant. There is almost nothing more significant than finding the right home, and I've found mine in Real Estate.

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, I have been living in Louisville since 2008. My husband Phil and I first moved here for school and instantly fell in love with everything that this great city has to offer. We now have a son, and firm roots in Louisville, the place that we happily refer to as home. 

Although I am technically new to the real estate game, it has been apart of my life for quite a while now. In the last five years we have purchased, renovated and sold quite a few houses. Additionally, my husband Phil is a very successful agent in Louisville. Through his work I have been able to see how much time and effort is needed in this business. The wonderful relationships that he has formed with his clients, and his ability to help them in one of the biggest decisions of their lives, sure makes the hard work worth it. I went to school for marketing, I have experience in sales, and in my free time I enjoy doing design work for our own personal properties as well as for friends and family. I am from Elizabethtown, KY and graduated from Bellarmine University in the Spring of 2018. While there I was on the golf team and obtained my undergrad in Business Administration. I have been around house flipping, property management, customhouse construction and many other real estate activities for as long as I can remember. My father who is a general contractor and a real estate mogul always allowed me to follow along with him on business activities and to work on construction sites. This has allowed me to not only learn the buying and selling process of real estate but also the construction process it takes to produce a well-built home. I’m an outgoing, friendly person, but I have never been afraid of dealing with tough situations others tend to shy away from which is an important trait your real estate agent must have. I have always loved helping others and have always loved the real estate industry which is why becoming a real estate agent was a perfect career decision for me. As a native of Radcliff, KY my passion has always been serving people in the Heartlands of Kentucky. Having graduated from the University of Kentucky in the summer of 2018, I ditched my intentions of a promising career in the medical field just months before my commencement in order to focus fully on the real estate market. I finished out the remainder of my degree & immediately worked towards my real estate license. This business has always been a love affair of mine, as I spent much of my youth offering my free (and not always willing) labor towards my father’s flip houses & listings. Being a second-generation agent has its advantages, as the determination & care needed to serve clients was ingrained in me at an early age.

Juli comes from a family that bought and sold many properties so she's familiar with the buying, remodeling and selling process. Juli resides in Louisville. She enjoys spending time with her pets and competing with her American Saddlebreds. Brenna is a lifelong Louisvillian and graduated from the University of Kentucky with degrees in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising. She also received her MBA from the University of Louisville with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, and holds her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. She's also a lifelong Equestrian in the competitive sport of Eventing, and held several regional and national titles as a junior competitor.


Brenna and her father have been flipping properties in Louisville as a team for almost seven years, which led to her passion for real estate and further solidified her love of Louisville. Although not a trained designer, it turned out that Brenna has quite an eye for design which led to their properties frequently selling within the first week of listing and for the top of the comps - two of them selling privately before they were even finished. Her social media presence for her flip business led to a partnership with another flipper, and together they've written an ebook and hosted "Flipping 101" classes and seminars, and are working on an online class platform so that classes can be more accessible and convenient for anyone interested.

A previous career in Project Management for marketing agencies means that Brenna is organized, detail-oriented, can provide strategic insight with a creative eye, and will do whatever it takes to get the best results for her clients.

In her free time, Brenna enjoys cooking, relaxing at home with friends and her rescue dog Bowser, live music, weekends spent at the lake, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Bengals, and traveling as much as possible.


My passion to help people stems from my background in retail. After owning and operating a clothing line, I know from experience, that a successful business solves a problem.
